For one project, our teacher gave us a television show prompt which was 2 words: samurai sasquatch. We were required to develop a premise, main character, sidekick, villain, and logo. It was a fun challenge for me because I hadn’t watched any show involving martial arts or fighting in any form so I had to do a lot of research to find this character and design armor, weaponry, etc.
My version of this story centers around a young princess sasquatch, Darby. She is not only the first Sasquatch born in centuries but also the first female royal heir in 5 generations. She is spunky, confident and playful. She is also feminine as represented by her painted toenails! Her armor is composed of wooden boards, poison ivy, and protective cloth. Purple is the color of royalty so her eyes, helmet, cloth, and toenails are this color. Fun fact: purple and gold are complimentary colors so ranging shades of yellow also make up her design with her fur, armor, and helmet horns.
