The backbone to every art student’s portfolio is a strong, central theme behind their work. The main concept of my art is the importance and power of having a confident view of oneself, not being bound by society’s preconceived notions or assumptions of ourselves. Almost all of my films’ storylines involve a transformation of a sort in one or more of the characters featured upon acceptance of their true identity. What I want viewers to take away from my films is to recognize that they are their own unique selves and they should be confident in how they carry themselves.
